The COdiNOx system converts poisonous exhaust gases of gas engines to harmless gases that occur in the ambient air. The cleaned exhaust gases are then discharged into the greenhouse. As a consequence of this the CO2-concentration in the greenhouse is enhanced.
By raising the carbon dioxide (CO2) content in the greenhouse, productivity can be increased by up to 30%.

Monitoring ethylene levels is easy
COditheen® - Etheen - C2H4- monitoring instrument. This is the first gas chromatograph being installed in 1998 in a industrial greenhouse setting. Being able to track the etheen ppb levels in exhaust gas, has been a tremendous improvement for the gas purifying technology and contributed to its acceptance by other involved parties, like Interpolis insurance and Hagelunie.
Exhaust gas odour removal is right
Two COdispOSe® units have been installed near two 400kWe heat power units from energy provider Nuon in Dutch city Wageningen. Right in the middle of a neighbourhood, the community was troubled by some smell of exhaust gas coming from the power units. These COdispOSe® units help to remove the odour. COdispOSe® is an odour and smell removal technology developed by Gasunie Research Groningen.
Removing biodiesel odours is necessary
A combination of fermentation a carbon dioxide utilisation put into practice with a 2x 800 kWe gas engine installation in Hennstedt (Germany) and resulted in world's first COdiNOx®BIO-1.
