Alfagy is the distributor of Schmitt Enertec GmbH's products in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia and was formed in 2008 in the Cotswolds as a company.  But Alfagy has been a CHP project since 2002. ALFAGY derived its name from the alfa cycle of a particular Stirling engine design.  While Stirling engines may still show promise, established combustion engines and their related supply chains are much more efficient and reliable in bringing customer satisfaction and sizable cuts in green house gas emission.  Our group employs more than 500 individuals.

 

Our proposition is simple: We deliver heat and power as well as 30% reduction on energy bills.  IRR levels of more than 40% are common and in a few years our wood gasified CHP plant will generate considerable profits beating any other investment in the market.

Bio-diesel, biogas, natural gas, LNP, LPG, syngas or wood gas can be used.  We do not believe in traditional diesel CHP units.
